Hi, I’m Pooja Swamy, holding a certified culinary art course chef. Creator behind Vannakam Café. Welcome to my little corner of the kitchen, where I share my love for cooking through flavorful Indian, fusion, Italian, and Chinese food.

My goal is to produce and delivered high quality food solely through online orders. I want to reach wider customer base and generate revenue through online order only.

I love cooking and feel very excited while doing it. In my leisure time I use to try different recipes in kitchen. From weekend dinners to festive feasts, I hope you will find something to grab from our menu. These dishes as much as I love preparing them I hope you to enjoy. For me, cooking food is is not just a meal; it’s about creating memories, bringing people together, and keeping traditions alive.

My Background

I worked as an HR in Indore, where I lived with my friend. Outside of full-time job, you’ll find me in the kitchen cooking delicious meals for my family (whenever we meet) and used to share my culinary creations to my friends and colleague.

I was born and raised in Raipur, India, in a South Indian family where food was always homemade, fresh, and prepared with love by my incredible Maasi (Maternal mother) and Mom. These super ladies led the charge of cooking at home, and while I never had to cook growing up, I always loved being their sous chef whenever I could.

After moving to the Indore for job, cooking became a necessity in my attempt to recreate the comforting flavors of home. What started as a simple need turned into a deep passion.

 In 2023, I took break and launched Vannakam Café, turning my love for food into a profession where I could share approachable, flavorful food to family and friend and to the world through vannakam café.
